Congratulations to JSA athlete, Ariel Aguas, for signing his first professional contract with Cumbaya FC in his native Ecuador. Cumbaya FC was promoted to the Ecuadorian Top Division in 2021 and are captained by former Watford and Olympiacos defender, Juan Carlos Paredes.
JSA assisted Aguas in transferring from Grand Canyon University to George Mason University ahead of the 2022 season. Despite being a newcomer to the team, Aguas was named team captain in pre-season and was a key player in defence and midfield for the Patriots.
