In his first season at Marshall University, French-American winger Adam Aoumaich has been named both All-Conference Second Team and the Sunbelt Conference's ''Newcomer of the Year'' .
I knew Adam was one of the most dangerous wingers in the country coming into the season. It's well deserved for him - Head coach, Chris Grassie.
Aoumaich made an immediate impact for Marshall after transferring from UAlbany, starting all but two regular season games. Aoumaich led his team in assists, with nine recorded. Aoumaich also scored two goals, including one of the best goals of the season vs Georgia State.
Aoumaich will look to carry his form into the national tournament as the no5. ranked Marshall look to repeat their 2020-21 triumph and win the NCAA Division 1 national championship for the second time in three years.
