Brog joins the No.9 ranked University of New Hampshire

Following four seasons and 53 appearances with Saint Mary’s College of California, versatile forward David Brog, will be joining the University of New Hampshire (UNH) for his graduate degree. Brog will join an elite Division 1 program which was ranked No. 9 in the final United Soccer Coaches National Poll of the season. This was the fourth season out of the last five years that UNH has been ranked in the top 25 teams in Division 1 as the Wildcats were No. 14 in 2017, No. 22 in 2019, and No. 19 in 2020. UNH also had its third player in recent years drafted in the MLS, with striker Tola Showunmi being selected by Atlanta United.

I chose UNH because I know it will continue to push me both athletically and academically. Coach Hubbard has worked to create a high level and well-cultured program that I’m beyond excited to be joining this coming Fall! I’m very thankful to JSA Scholarships for making this happen for me - David Brog

Key to the Wildcat’s success has been their outstanding home record under head coach Marc Hubbard. The Wildcat Stadium is rightly considered one of the most challenging places to visit in college soccer, with an all-time record of 43W-2L-7D at the stadium, outscoring the opposition, 109-19. This past season, UNH set a Wildcat Stadium attendance record for a soccer game when 5,357 fans attended the match versus Vermont on Oct. 16, 2021.
