Cyprus Youth National Team, left back, Panagiotis Georgiou will be joining the Indiana Tech Warriors in Fall 2022. Georgiou, a product of Omonoia Nicosia’s youth academy, represented Cyprus at international level from U15 to U19 level.

Indiana Tech enjoyed a historic season in 2021, having made the quarterfinals of the national championship and finished the season ranked 7th in the nation. With four players, three of whom will be returning next season, named to the NAIA’s All-America team, Panagiotis will be joining a team looking to compete for a national championship.
Located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a city with population of 260,000, the university has an enrollment of just under 10,000 students. The city is home to a professional basketball team, the NBA G-League’s Fort Wayne Mad Ants which is an affiliate of the NBA’s Indiana Pacers. In addition, in 2023 the city will have its own professional soccer team, Fort Wayne FC.
