We are pleased to announce that Savvas Gonatas, will be joining the University of Rochester in Fall 2024!
Gonatas, a 6ft8 forward, has represented the Cyprus National Team across youth ages and has been a member of Keravnos Strovolou's men's team since the age of 16.
The University or Rochester which is located in Upstate New York, is considered one of the top private universities in the US. The university's business schools is regularly ranked in the top 30 in the nation, whilst its engineering school is ranked in the top 40.
The men's basketball program competes in the UAA, arguably the most competitive conference in NCAA Division III. It is considered one of the top programs in NCAA Division III, with four national tournament appearances in the last six seasons, including a run to quarterfinals of the national tournament.
