Stavriana Adamou commits to Elon University

We are pleased to announce that Cypriot hurdler, Stavriana Adamou, will be joining Elon University on a full scholarship this Spring. Stavriana is one of the best young hurdlers in Cyprus and has represented Cyprus in international games.

Elon University is a private university in Elon, North Carolina which competes in NCAA Division 1. Elon is ranked in the top 5% of universities in the nation, with a #1 ranking for excellence in undergraduate teaching, a #13 ranking for most innovative national university and #9 ranking among private universities for internship opportunities. Elon’s School of Business is ranked among the country’s top 40 undergraduate business programs by Poets&Quants, a business education news outlet.

Elon's women's track and field team has had great success in recent years, having won three conference championships in a row. In total Elon has won the conference championship in five of the last eight years.
