We are pleased to announce that German defender, Niclas Wittur, will be transferring to Duke University for his graduate studies! Wittur spent the last five seasons with Wingate University, where he earned All-Conference honours as a sophomore and senior.

Duke's men's soccer team competes in the ACC, the most competitive conference in NCAA Division 1. The team is led by head coach John Kerr, a former U.S. Men's National Team player who made history as the first American to play in the Premier League. In recent years Duke has enjoyed great success on the pitch, qualifying for the last three national tournaments. Duke has also produced several professional players, with three players selected in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft, in addition to Nick Pariano and Foster Ajago who signed outside the Draft. In all, 20 players under Kerr’s watch have been drafted or signed homegrown contracts for Major League Soccer.
