Lafayette striker, Marcos Kitromilides was named a United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American! Kitromilides becomes the first Cypriot footballer to be named a Scholar All-American. Only 33 players from the approximately 6200 NCAA Division 1 men's soccer players receive this honour.
The award recognizes the student-athletes' outstanding academic and athletic accomplishment for the season.
Kitromilides, an Economics major, holds a 3.65 GPA. Kitromilides led the Lafayette Leopards this season with eight goals, five game-winning goals and one assist, totaling 17 points.
This season, the forward has been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team, All-Patriot League First Team, Academic All-Patriot League Team and Academic All-District.
