Congratulations to JSA athlete, Adam Aoumaich, for signing his first professional contract with Union Omaha! JSA assisted the French-American winger transfer from UAlbany to Marshall University after his sophomore year. Despite his limited playing time at UAlbany, Aoumaich was a revelation at Marshall. At Marshall he was named the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Men's Soccer Newcomer of the Year as well as earning All-Conference Team honours. Over 36 matches with Marshall, Aoumaich scored 7 times and provided 15 assists.
In Union Omaha, Aoumaich will be joining arguably the most successful club in USL League One. Last season Omaha finished top of the league table winning the Player's Shield, for the second time in three years. In addition the club were named Playoff Champions in 2021, becoming the third club in USL 1 history to win the Player's Shield and be named Playoff Champions in the same season.
