Can’t wait to be a “Pilot” and contribute to the team. Excited to face a challenge that is outside of my comfort zone - George Tasouris

Reflecting back on his decision to become a GCU Lope back in 2018, George stated that “I wouldn’t change it for anything. Incredible place to grow both as a player and a person. Combining state-of-the-art facilities with getting my degree, experiencing a new culture. It was the best move I could have done for my future. I am still getting exposure through college games, experience, and cultivating myself in areas outside of the soccer environment.”

Tasouris’ transfer to Portland was listed as one of the top 10 transfers to watch this season by TopDrawerSoccer.com noting ” The two-time WAC Defensive Player of the Year, […], adds massive experience and quality at the back for the Pilots. The Cyprus native has been massive between the posts at Grand Canyon, and will look to replicate that form in the WCC.”
